The Milliken Events Committee is excited to announce our first Neighborhood Competition on Saturday, August 10, 2024.

 NEW RULES Neighborhood Competition Cook-Off Rules

 

The food can be cooked at home!

Each team or entrant is to provide a recipe or list of ingredients with their turn-in.

 

Turn in your food on a standard 1/4 sheet aluminum pan and covered.

​

A neighborhood may enter more than one dish.

​

​Turn in time is 2:15pm-2:30pm at the north entrance to TRPR.

 

The food to cook is your choice as long as it relates to the era and has beef and may include beans in the recipe. Wild game included! Deer, antelope, bison, elk. (Rattlesnake)

You will need to turn in at least 6 samples for the judges.  

​

Garnishing is allowed as it will contribute to the appearance portion of judging.

Creativity-Originality

Appearance

Taste

Tenderness
