BBQ COMPETITION CANCELED THIS YEAR!

The Milliken Events Committee is excited to host our second

 KCBS sanctioned BBQ competition. 

APPLICATION & PAYMENT

1) Complete the PFD application and either email, fax or mail the completed form in with payment.  

2) Click the PayPal Button  below to choose booth size and remit payment. 

3) You MUST provide a W-9

4) You MUST comply with The Milliken Events Committe & KCBS Rules and Regulations.

REMINDER

You are required to reserve a space. The 4 meat categories are required to qualify for KCBS points and to be eligible to win the Reserve and Grand Reserve Champion Prizes

 

Initial Four Required Categories – 

$250 (ENTRY FEE for a 20 x 30 space)

$275 (ENTRY FEE for a 20 x 40 space)

  • Chicken

  • Pork Ribs

  • Pork Shoulder

  • Brisket

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Check in date and time is Friday, August 7th, 2020 at 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.  With the BBQ Competition being held August 8th, 2020.

PEOPLE's CHOICE

  •  KCBS Teams are eligible to participate in the “People’s Choice” competition in addition to the KCBS Judged competition.

  • Teams competing in People’s choice must comply with Weld County Health & Fire Departments regulations.

  • Pork Butts will be donated to the teams who wish to participate in People’s Choice.

  • The People’s Choice competitors will provide their own sauces, rubs & supplies.

  • Competition for People’s Choice is based upon public voting for pork butts, only, using designated tickets. At the end of the event, tickets will be counted to determine winner. Proceeds are split between the competitor (50%) and The Milliken Events Committee (50%, which will be donated to local charities and events in Milliken Colorado). Money to be paid out at time of ticket counting. 

  • We welcome your donation of BBQ Brisket, Pork Ribs, and Chicken.  However, it will not be included in the People’s Choice competition. 

  • Competitors must turn in their entry(s) into The Milliken Events Committee Volunteer.

  • Competitors may not sell or accept People’s Choice Tickets at their booth.

  • The Milliken Events Committee will sell 7 tickets/ $20.00 at a designated location near the People’s Choice destination.

  • Milliken Events Committee will ONLY sell individual 2 oz of meat for 1 ticket each.

  • Final People’s Choice details will be provided August 5th, 2020.
